The Medical / Health Academy at SHS consists of a multitude of health and medical related courses offered in the classroom and online. These courses emphasize hands-on activities, experiential learning, and realistic scenarios with state of the art equipment. Students have opportunities to job shadow in a multitude of professional settings and gain certifications, college credits, and scholarships.

The CTE (Career Technical Education) Program at SHS is filled with opportunities for certifications, college credits, college scholarship opportunities, hands-on skills, and job preparedness. There are six school courses and 11 online courses that are offered and an opportunity of obtaining 20+ college credits before graduation.
