Drivers Education

The Sisters School District works with the High Desert Education Service District (HDESD) for the Driver’s Education Course.

High Desert ESD Driver Education Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide quality driver education and training that meets or exceeds the requirements set by the Oregon Department of Transportation. With the completion of the course, the students will be equipped with information, habits, and skills to successfully begin their driving career. The program will be offered year-round to provide more flexibility for students, families, and busy schedules.

The program fees are $315 and there is a $100 scholarship option for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch.

Classes are offered on Thursday nights from 3:30-6:30 pm and behind the wheel Mondays and Wednesdays.
