EMBRACE
Encouraging Mindful Behavior to Relay Acceptance Change and Empathy
Encouraging Mindful Behavior to Relay Acceptance Change and Empathy (EMBRACE) is a youth-led group that works to address the physical and mental health concerns that are typical for high school students.
Coordinated in partnership with Deschutes County Health Services, the School Based Health Center, and Sisters High School, EMBRACE projects bring together research, project planning, and advocacy skills to increase awareness and reduce stigma related to the health issues students find most important.
Sisters EMBRACE participants have the opportunity to meet with other student groups in the area doing similar work. Lunch is provided.
